Overview

When a client completes a Customisable Form as part of an Engage request, their responses are available to review directly in Legl. Completed form responses are visible as soon as each step is submitted, even if other workflow steps are still pending.

This article explains how to find a submitted form, review the responses, and download a copy for your records.

Before you start

Before reviewing a submitted form, make sure:

  • The client has submitted the Customisable Form step in their Engage request

  • You have access to Engage in Legl

ℹ️ Important

You can review individual form responses as soon as the client submits them. You do not need to wait for the full workflow to be completed.

How to review a submitted customisable form

  1. Navigate to Engage → Individuals from the left-hand menu.

  2. Find the relevant Engage request and select View.

  3. Completed steps will be marked with a green tick.

  4. Select the Customisable Form step to open the submitted responses.

  5. Review the client's responses. You will see their contact details followed by all form fields and answers in the order they were presented.

How to download a completed form

  1. Open the Engage request containing the completed form.

  2. Select the Download button to export the form responses as a PDF.

The downloaded PDF includes the client's details and all submitted responses, which you can save to your records or share internally.

What happens next

  • When the client completes all workflow steps and clicks Submit, the designated Reviewer receives an email notification and the full workflow becomes available for review.

  • Once you have reviewed the form responses, you can mark the workflow as reviewed or progress to any remaining steps in the request.

ℹ️ Further guidance

Important information

  • Form responses are read-only once submitted. If a client needs to change their answers, a new Engage request with the form step will need to be sent.

  • The downloaded PDF reflects the responses at the time of submission.

  • Customisable Form responses are stored against the Engage request and are accessible from the client's contact profile under their activity history.
