How to delete an Engage request

Deleting an Engage request requires support assistance. Law firms must contact Legl Support to request a deletion.


Before you start

Before contacting Support, make sure you have:

  • The Legl app reference for the Engage request

  • The reason for deletion

  • Confirmation of whether the request relates to a DSAR (Data Subject Access Request)


How to delete an Engage request

  1. Open the Engage request in the Legl platform.

  2. Copy the Legl app reference, shown at the top of the request page.

  3. Email [email protected] with the following details:

    • The Legl reference

    • The reason for deleting the request

    • Confirmation if the request is related to a DSAR


What happens next

  • The Legl Support team will review your request.

  • If all required information is provided, they will proceed with the deletion.

  • Support may contact you if further clarification is needed.


Important information

Important:

  • Engage requests cannot be deleted directly within the Legl platform.

  • Deletions must be handled by Legl Support

  • If the deletion relates to a DSAR, this must be clearly stated in your request email to avoid delays.
