In this article we will cover:

Why would I force complete a request?

Sometimes clients can get stuck while completing an Engage request, or they no longer need to complete all the steps initially required. Most of the time, our customer success teams can help them resolve their issues. However, on rare occasions, you may need to force complete an engage request so that any information already submitted can be reviewed.

By force completing a request, you will be provided with all the information available that has already been submitted by the client, and all the checks run.

This is unlike the Close Link option, which doesn't capture any client information

It's important to note that your client cannot continue completing a request once it has been force completed.

How do I force complete a request?

When an engage request is In Progress, you can click on the ellipses icon, and select Force Complete to enter the preview.

The resulting menu will give you a summary of how far through the process the request is, and what information you will get from force completing the request at this stage.

If you want to continue, you can add a comment to let your colleagues know why, and click the red Force Complete button.

What happens to the request once I've clicked Force Complete?

Force completed requests may briefly enter a processing stage, while our ID verification partners run the necessary checks.

Once these checks are completed, a summary of the information will be available by selecting the Engage request from your dashboard. Both the summary and any associated reports will show completed checks, and indicate which were incomplete.

You can still assign a reviewer to the request, or send out a new engage request to the client to capture more information.
