In this article we will cover:

Why would I force complete a request?

You might need to force complete a request if a client encounters issues completing an Engage request or no longer needs to finish all required steps. Force completing the request allows you to review any data provided up to that point and run the necessary checks.

This is unlike the Close Link option, which doesn't capture any client information

It's important to note that your client cannot continue completing a request once it has been force completed.

How to Force Complete an Engage Request:

  1. Navigate to the 'In Progress' Engage request in your dashboard.

  2. Click on the ellipsis icon (three dots) next to the request and select 'Force Complete'.

  3. A preview will appear, summarizing the client's progress and indicating which information will be available upon force completion

  4. If you choose to proceed, you can add a comment explaining the reason for force completing this will be visible to all your colleagues on the Legl platform, then click the red 'Force Complete' button.

After clicking Force Complete

  • The request may briefly enter a processing stage while our ID verification partners run the necessary checks.

  • Once processing is complete, a summary of the available information will be accessible from your dashboard. Both the summary and any associated reports will display completed checks and indicate which were incomplete.help.legl.com

  • You can still assign a reviewer to the request or send out a new Engage request to the client to capture additional information if needed.
