Overview

Legl provides a fully searchable database of all individual, business, trust, and vessel contacts your firm has previously interacted with. You can search for a contact from the Contacts page, or find them through Engage or Pay depending on what you need.

This is useful when you need to check a client's profile, review previous activity, or start a new request for an existing client.

How to search for an existing contact

  1. Navigate to Contacts from the left-hand menu.

  2. Use the search bar at the top of the page to search by name, email address, or client reference number.

  3. To narrow your results, use the filter to select a contact type:

    1. Individuals

    2. Businesses

    3. Trusts

    4. Vessels.

  4. Select the contact you are looking for to open their profile.
