Use this article to understand what the vessel contact page shows in Legl, including vessel details, sanctions check results, and activity history.
Where to find this
Go to Vessels in the navigation, search for the vessel by name, and select it to open the vessel contact page.
Alternatively, you can search for the vessel name on the Contacts page.
What you will see
The vessel contact page is made up of several sections.
Vessel details
The details panel shows the vessel's key information, including the vessel name, IMO number, country, and client reference number.
Sanctions check
The sanctions check panel shows the result of any sanctions check run for this vessel. From here you can view the full result or refresh the check to run a new one.

Activity tab
The Activity tab shows a log of all checks and interactions associated with this vessel, including vessel sanctions screenings.
Associated contacts tab
The Associated contacts tab shows any businesses or individuals linked to this vessel, such as its owner or operator. From here you can view existing associations or add a new one.
What you can do from this page
View the sanctions check result from the Sanctions check panel
Refresh the sanctions check to run a new screening
View the vessel's full activity history from the Activity tab
View or add associations from the Associated contacts tab, linking the vessel to a related business or individual
Important information
Ongoing Monitoring is not available for vessel contacts.
You can refresh the sanctions check at any time to run a new screening.
The vessel's IMO number is shown in the Vessel details panel where available.
Associations between a vessel and a business or individual are also visible from that business or individual's own Associated contacts tab.
