Overview

You can integrate Legl with your Access Legal case management system to ensure that your firm's records are up to date and compliant across the end-to-end payment process.

The integrations with Access Legal Proclaim, Case Management, and One Office allow you to review your Legl payment data within your case management system. This article covers how each integration works.

ℹ️ Important

To get started with any of these integrations, please contact your Account Manager who will be able to guide you through the required setup between Legl and Access Legal.

Legl and Access Legal Proclaim

The integration between Legl and Access Legal Proclaim allows you to create and manage client payments directly from Proclaim.

How it works

  • Create new payment requests directly from within Proclaim. You can select your preferred message type (for example, email) to share the payment request directly with your client.

  • Your client receives the payment request link via the message type specified, and accesses the firm-branded checkout to complete the payment.

  • You will be notified in Proclaim when a new payment has been made. You can review all payments made via Legl, including the client name and payment reference.

  • You can also select a payment to review more information, including the amount, payment details, and references.

Legl and Access Legal Case Management / One Office

The integrations between Legl and Access Legal Case Management, and between Legl and Access Legal One Office, allow you to view and manage your created payments within your firm's case management system. Both integrations work in the same way.

How it works

  • Create and send new payment requests within Legl, or direct clients to make a payment via your firm's online checkout

  • Review and manage all created payment requests within DPS Spitfire or DPS One Office. This includes the payment status (for example, created, paid, transferred), as well as the payment data, invoice and matter reference, and amount

Important information

  • All three Access Legal integrations require setup support from your Account Manager

  • The integrations work alongside your existing Legl account and do not change how payments are processed
