Use this article to understand what the business contact page shows in Legl, including company information, screening results, and activity history.
Where to find this
Go to Contacts, search for the business by name, and select their name to open their contact page.
What you will see
The business contact page is made up of several sections.
Company information
The company panel shows the contact's key details, including the company name, registration number, client reference number and address.
Company report
The company report shows publicly available information about the business, including structure & ownership, credit risk & financials and Legal events.
Sanctions screening
If the business has been screened, the screening result and any flags will appear on their contact page.
Monitoring tab
The Monitoring tab shows the current monitoring status for the contact. This can be:
On: All β all changes are being monitored
On: Partial β some changes are being monitored. Hover over the status for details of what is included
Off β monitoring is not enabled for this contact
Activity tab
The Activity tab shows a log of all interactions associated with this contact, including:
Engage requests
Pay requests
CDD reports
Payments received
Screenings
Associated contacts tab
The Associated contacts tab shows any individuals linked to this business, such as directors or beneficial owners.
What you can do from this page
Update business details by hovering over a field and selecting Edit, entering the updated information, and saving
View the contact's full activity history from the Activity tab
Access linked individuals from the Associated contacts tab
Important information
If you update a contact's email address, any open requests associated with that contact will be closed. You will need to resend those requests to the updated email address.
Most contact details can be updated by hovering over the field and selecting Edit.
