Overview

Ready-to-use templates to help you build Customisable Forms in Legl. Each template includes a suggested form title, when to use it, and example questions with recommended field types. Copy and adapt them to suit your firm's needs and risk-based approach.

You can group questions into sections and apply visibility logic so clients only see questions relevant to them. You can also add conditional document requests — file uploads that only appear based on a client's answer to a previous question.

Important information

  • These templates are starting points — adapt the questions and field types to suit your firm's needs and risk-based approach.

  • Use sections to group related questions on longer forms. This improves the experience for clients, particularly on mobile.

  • Use visibility logic on follow-up questions so clients only answer what is relevant to them.

  • Conditional document requests require a Radios (Single choice) or Checkboxes (Multi choice) question as the trigger.

  • Add help text to questions where clients may be unsure what is being asked — this reduces incomplete submissions.
