The checks are typically completed within 1-2 minutes, but sometimes they can take up to a few hours if further lookups are required or if they are held up for any other reason. You are notified by email when a check is completed.

A common reason a check can remain in the processing stage is the use of a scan or photo of a printed image when uploading the ID image. We encourage firm users and clients to avoid scans & photos of print outs where possible to ensure we can provide accurate results on identity verification.
