How Adyen re-verification works

What to do when Adyen asks your firm to re-verify its details, including how often it happens and how to complete the review.

Written by Ula Moyse-White

Overview

To keep your Legl Pay payouts running, our payments partner Adyen periodically asks your firm to re-verify that its details are still accurate. This guide explains when this happens and how to complete it.

How re-verification works

Adyen may occasionally ask you to review and confirm that your business details are still accurate.

This includes information about your company, its signatories, and ultimate beneficial owners (UBOs): the same details you provided when you first onboarded with Adyen.

When asked, review the details and update anything that has changed. Once confirmed, Adyen will re-verify your account and ensure there is no disruption to your payments. Adyen usually asks you to complete this process every two years.

ℹ️ Important

You will have 30 days to complete this review. If details are not updated in time, payments will stop being processed. We will send reminders, and if there is only a week left, we will do everything we can to reach you directly.

How to complete re-verification

  1. As soon as Legl is notified by Adyen that you need to verify your details, we will email your finance team, or those best placed to verify the details.

  2. This email contains a link that takes you to the Adyen verification page.

  3. Check the data is up to date, change anything if needed, and select submit.
