How to export Risk Assessment questions and answers

Export your risk assessments to CSV: a summary of all assessments, or the full questions and answers for one template.

Written by Ula Moyse-White

Overview

You can export your firm's risk assessments from Legl to a CSV file, so you can review them outside the platform, provide evidence to an auditor, or analyse your risk data in your own systems. You can export a summary of every risk assessment in the table, or the full responses for a single template.

Before you start

  • You need access to view risk assessments in Legl.

  • You need at least one risk assessment, or a template with completed responses, to export.

How to export risk assessment questions and answers

  1. Go to Risk Assessments in Legl.

  2. Select Assessments.

  3. Click the download icon next to the search and filters.

  4. Under What would you like to export?, choose:

    • Summary: an overview of every Risk Assessment in the table, or

    • Full responses: every question as a column, for one template.

  5. If you choose Full responses, select the Risk Assessment template from the dropdown.

  6. Optionally, tick Apply the filters currently active on the table to export only the filtered results.

  7. Select Download CSV.

What happens next

  • The CSV file downloads to your device.

  • A Summary export gives an overview of every risk assessment in the table. A Full responses export contains every question as a column for the template you selected.

  • If you applied the active table filters, the export only includes the filtered risk assessments.

  • You can open the CSV in any spreadsheet tool to review, filter, or analyse the data.

Important information

  • There are two export types: a summary of every risk assessment in the table, or the full responses (every question as a column) for a single template.

  • You can choose to apply the filters currently active on the table, so the export matches what you see on screen.

  • Exports are provided as CSV files, so they open in any spreadsheet software.

  • To download a single completed assessment as a PDF instead, see How to download a Risk Assessment in Legl.
