Overview

Downloading a risk assessment allows you to save a PDF copy of a completed assessment for your records or external document storage. This is typically done once a risk assessment has been completed and finalised.

Before you start

Before downloading a risk assessment, ensure that:

  • The risk assessment has been marked as Completed

  • You have access to view the risk assessment in Legl

  • You are logged into the Legl platform

How to download a risk assessment

  1. Go to Risk Assessments in Legl.

  2. Locate the completed risk assessment you want to download by using the search and filters.

  3. Click into the risk assessment to open it.

  4. Confirm the status shows as Completed.

  5. Select Download as PDF at the top of the risk assessment.

The risk assessment will download as a PDF file.

What happens next

  • The PDF version of the risk assessment is saved to your device.

  • You can store the document outside of Legl, for example in your document management system.

  • If the risk assessment has been updated over time, each version can be downloaded separately from the assessment history.

Important information

  • Only completed risk assessments can be downloaded as PDFs.

  • If a risk assessment has been updated, you can download both the latest version and any previous versions from the history view.

  • Downloaded PDFs reflect the information and risk rating at the time that version was completed, including any manual overrides or recorded changes.
