How to deactivate or remove a user from Legl

Learn how to deactivate a user, reactivate them, or request permanent removal from your Legl account.

Overview

Admins can deactivate users to prevent access to Legl or request permanent removal of a user from the account.


Before you start

  • You must have Admin access in Legl


How to deactivate a user

  1. Log into your Legl account.

  2. Go to Settings > Team & departments.

  3. Locate the active user you want to deactivate and select Update.

  4. Select Deactivate.

The user will no longer be able to log into Legl.


How to reactivate a user

  1. Go to Settings > Team & departments.

  2. Locate the inactive user and select Update.

  3. Select Activate.


How to remove a user permanently

To remove a user entirely from your Legl account:

ℹ️ Important

Permanent removal must be authorised by a Legl Admin and cannot be completed directly in the platform.


Important information

  • Deactivating a user prevents login but does not delete the user or their history.

  • You can reactivate a deactivated user at any time.

  • Permanent removal cannot be completed in the platform and must be actioned by Legl Support.

  • Permanent removal must be authorised by a Legl Admin.
