How to invite users to Legl

Invite team members to your firm's Legl account. Covers what happens after the invite is sent and troubleshooting email delivery.

Overview

Inviting users allows new team members to access your firm's Legl account. Only users with Admin access can invite new users.


Before you start

  • You must have Admin access in Legl

  • You will need the user's email address

ℹ️ Important

Inviting users and managing access can only be done by Legl Admins.


How to invite new users

  1. Log into your Legl account at https://account.legl.com/.

  2. From the left-hand menu, go to Settings > Team & departments.

  3. Select Add users in the top-right corner.

  4. Enter one or more email addresses (separated by commas).

  5. Select Invite.


How to bulk upload users

If you need to add a large number of team members at once, for example when first setting up your firm on Legl, you can invite them in bulk rather than entering each email address individually.

  1. Download and complete the Bulk User Upload template.

  2. Complete the following columns for each user you want to invite:

    • First name

    • Last name

    • Email address

    • Department

    • Role

  3. Share the completed template with your Launch Manager, or contact our Support team.

ℹ️ Tip

Bulk upload is the quickest way to get your whole team set up during launch. To add only one or two users, use the steps above instead.


What happens next

  • The invited users will receive an email from Legl with the subject "Your Account Invite", containing a link to create and log into their account.

  • As an Admin, you can manage each user's permissions once they are invited.


Troubleshooting

Issue: Invitee has not received the account creation email

Solution: Ask them to check their Junk or Spam folder. You may also need to ask your IT team to whitelist the @legl.com domain.
