What is Proof of Address Verification?

It helps firms:
✅ Detect digitally tampered or fraudulent documents
✅ Verify document authenticity and compliance with local rules

Why use Proof of Address Verification?

Proof of address verification protects your firm from increasing document fraud risk by ensuring each uploaded document is:

  • Genuine and recent according to local regulations

  • Free from signs of tampering

  • Matched correctly to your client’s name and address

How to Add Proof of Address Verification to a Workflow

Step 1: Create or Edit a Workflow

Only firm admins will have access to create and edit workflows.

  1. Log in to Legl and go to Engage → Workflow.
