Overview

Engage usage billing reports allow Admin users to view and export usage data for billing and reconciliation purposes.
You may need to run this report to review usage, download data, or reconcile figures against your latest invoice.

Before you start

  • You must be logged in to Legl with Admin user permissions.

  • You must have access to the Legl Dashboard.

How to run an Engage usage billing report

  1. Log in to your Legl dashboard.

  2. In the left-hand sidebar, open Insights.

  3. Select Engage Billing from the dropdown menu.

  4. Use the date selector at the top of the page to choose your required time range.

  5. Scroll down if needed and click Apply filter to refresh the report with the selected dates.

  6. Once the report has refreshed, click the three-dot (•••) menu.

  7. Select Download results.

  8. Choose your preferred file format (for example, CSV or Excel) and download the file.

ℹ️ Important

If you do not click Apply filter, the report will continue to show the previous data—even though the date selection appears to have changed.

How to reconcile your Engage usage report with your invoice

If your usage report does not reconcile with your latest invoice, check the following carefully.

  • The Engage usage billing report defaults to Previous 30 days.

  • To reconcile against your most recent invoice, you must change the date filter to Previous Month and ensure that you click Apply filter.

What happens next

  • The downloaded report reflects the filtered usage data shown on screen.

  • You can use this file for internal review or invoice reconciliation.

Important information

Important:

  • The Engage usage billing report defaults to Previous 30 days, which may not match your billing cycle.

  • Changing the date range alone does not refresh the data.

  • You must always click Apply filter to ensure the report updates.

  • Failure to apply the filter is the most common reason usage reports do not reconcile with invoices.
