Template 2: Workflow welcome message — Example 1

This message appears when your client opens an Engage request. Use it to set expectations around identity verification and next steps.

ℹ️ Important

The workflow welcome message has a 400 character limit. Keep your wording concise to encourage quick completion.

ℹ️ Example welcome message

Welcome to [Firm Name], we are looking forward to working with you. In order to meet our obligations under the Money Laundering Regulations, we are required to run identity checks on new clients. Once you have completed this client onboarding process, we will review the documents submitted and be in touch with the next steps. Many thanks in advance.

Template 3: Workflow welcome message — Example 2

Use this alternative if you want to provide more detail about acceptable ID documents. Note that this example exceeds 400 characters and will need to be shortened before use in a workflow.

ℹ️ Example welcome message

Thank you for instructing [Firm Name]. In accordance with current anti-money laundering requirements, each client must provide us with proof of identification in the form of a government issued photo ID. If you cannot supply this please contact us.

Acceptable Photo ID includes:

  • Current Passport

  • Photocard Driving Licence

  • Residency Card (if applicable)

We aim to make it as easy and secure for you as possible to provide us with these documents, and you can do so using our online platform.

Simply click on the link below saying "Get Started" and follow the instructions. We advise that you complete this using a smart device, as you will be required to upload photographs of your documents.
