How to change the personal information on your request

Learn how to edit your personal details on a Legl request sent by your law firm before submitting the form.

Overview

If any of the personal details on the request link sent by your law firm are incorrect, you can edit them at the very beginning of the form before submitting. Once submitted, changes are no longer possible.


Before you start

Before you begin, make sure that:

  • You have opened the request link sent to you by your law firm

  • You have not yet submitted the form

ℹ️ Important

If you have already submitted the form, you will not be able to edit your details.


How to change the personal information on your request

  1. Open the request link sent to you by your law firm.

  2. Review the personal details shown at the start of the form.

  3. Edit any incorrect information, such as your name, date of birth, contact details, or address.

  4. Continue completing the form once your details are correct.


What happens next

  • Your updated details will be submitted to the law firm when you complete the request.

  • The law firm will review and approve the information as part of their process.


Important information

  • Once you have submitted the form, your personal details can no longer be edited.

  • If changes are needed after submission, you must contact your law firm directly. They may need to update their records or issue you a new request.

  • If the verification link you received is no longer active, this usually means no further action is required from you. For confirmation, contact your law firm directly, as they manage the review and approval process.
