How does a bulk upload work?
Bulk Upload allows you to import your existing clients to the Legl platform without any complex data migration. Once imported, ongoing monitoring can be enabled for existing clients en masse, rather than by manually switching on monitoring one at a time from the contact view.
If the client already exists within Legl, monitoring will be started for that contact, if the client is brand new, a new contact will be created.
Please communicate to the customer experience team who you would like to set as the reviewer for all monitoring updates and screenings. One person will be set as the reviewer for all, but you will be able to change the reviewer manually later in the Legl platform.
What information do I need to provide for a business bulk upload?
Please use the CSV template provided.
We need the data in a standardised format so it can be interpreted by the bulk upload tool and so an initial check can be run. If the data isn’t in the right format, the file will be rejected. Ensure that:
The headings are in the exact format listed in the example to ensure the file can be read
DOB is in the format YYYY-MM-DD
Country codes are valid 2 letter codes (see https://www.iban.com/country-codes)
No fields in any row are blank
Once your CSV file is ready, please send it to our customer support team and they will proceed to upload the file. This process can vary in time, from a few minutes to hours, depending on the size of the file and platform activity. Once completed our team members will notify you, and you will be able to review the uploaded business contacts in Legl.
