Launching Legl: Your Project Plan & Checklist

A practical launch guide for law firms implementing Legl’s onboarding, compliance, and payments tools.

📅 Launch Timeline Overview

Legl’s software is incredibly easy to get set up and using, we often see firms go live within a week. Our aim is to get you up, running and seeing value as soon as possible so we generally work to implement, depending on your firm’s size and rollout plan, within 2-4 weeks from signing.

Key Phases:

  1. Pre Kick-Off Call
    The Legl Enablement team will set up your account, apply firm branding and set up some default workflows.

  2. Kick-Off Call
    Introduction to your Legl Launch Manager, alignment on goals, and walk-through of the launch plan.

  3. Implementation
    Configure workflows and set up payment features (if applicable).

  4. Training
    Deliver live or recorded sessions to familiarise users with the platform.

  5. Go-Live
    Start using Legl in day-to-day operations.


👥 Roles & Responsibilities

Your Firm:

  • Success Owner: Leads the Legl project and drives internal adoption.

  • Executive Sponsor: Provides overall support, authorises decisions, and champions change internally.

Legl Team:

  • Launch Manager: Oversees your onboarding, provides guidance, and ensures timely delivery.

  • Customer Support: Available Monday to Friday, 9am – 6pm, to assist with queries, configuration, and technical matters.


✅ Launch Checklist

Pre-Kick-Off:

Your Firm

  • Schedule the Kick-Off Call

  • Assign Success Owners and Executive Sponsor

  • Agree objectives and success metrics

  • Confirm rollout approach (All Out or Phased)

Legl

  • Set up your firm’s Legl instance

  • Apply Firm Branding

  • Configure default workflows

Kick-Off Call:

  • Introduction to your Legl Launch Manager

  • Alignment on goals and success metrics

Implementation:

Your Firm

  • Complete payment provider KYC to set up payments (if applicable)

  • Build and customise workflows

  • Add and manage user roles

  • Review and approve the configuration

Training:

  • Arrange Admin and User training

  • Share training materials

  • Deliver sessions

  • Collect feedback and respond to queries

Go-Live:

  • Notify internal stakeholders

  • Begin using Legl in live operations

  • Monitor early activity and resolve issues

  • Schedule a post-launch review
