1. Logging In
Open the Legl platform here.
Enter your username and password. If this is your first time, check your email for login details from [email protected]
Please ensure this has not been filtered to your junk/spam folder.
2. Navigating the Dashboard
Dashboard Overview: The dashboard is your home base where you can see outstanding requests, completed requests and key stats.
Main Menu: Located on the left, it allows you to access all sections:
Contacts
Pay - All elements of the Legl Pay functionality
Engage - Allowing you to complete your Onboarding and AML checks for both Individuals and Businesses
Monitoring - Ongoing monitoring alerts
Insights - For all your reporting requirements within the platform
Settings - Allowing you to update any of the personal information on your account, such as your department or password.
3. Managing Client Requests
View Requests:
For Pay - click on Pay > Payments
For Engage (KYC) - click on Engage > Individuals
For Engage (KYB) - click on Engage > Businesses
Creating a Request:
For Pay - click on Create Pay Request
For Engage (KYC) - click on Create Engage Request
For Engage (KYB) - click on + New Business Search
Sending your request: After creating your request, you will have two options of how to send this to your client.
Send email - this will come from [email protected] and you will have the ability to include yourself in CC for visibility.
Copy shareable link - if you are already in communications with your client, you can embed their unique link into an email for them to access.
4. Communicating with Customers
Workflows: Workflows are pre-set templates set by your firms admin, ensuring all elements of the onboarding journey which are required from your client are received as expected.
Reminders: If reminders are enabled, these will follow the cadence of: 1, 3, 7, 14 and 30 days. These can be enabled or disabled to your firms preference.
5. Using Legl Assist
When completing a CDD check on an individual, if you were to receive back a Consider result; you will have access to Legl Assist.
Legl has built in Generative AI analysis and summary tools to help the reader of the CDD report focus on the major aspects for consideration and reduce the time it takes to build a risk analysis.

6. Account Settings
Updating Profile: You can update your profile information under Settings.
Password Reset: You will always be able to change your password regularly under the Settings page.

Knowledge Base: If you need further assistance, visit our Knowledge Base full of support articles and videos to guide you through the Legl platform.
Support Team: You can contact our Support Team via Live chat on the blue bubble, bottom right hand corner of your screen. Alternatively, you can email the team directly: [email protected]
Contact Admin: For specific permissions or workflow concerns, please contact your admin directly.
8. Best Practices
Regularly check the dashboard to stay on top of new requests and updates.
Use clear and concise communication when messaging customers.
Log out after each session to keep your account secure.
