⚠️ CHECK
Verify against the live product before publishing: the review page banner wording (Linear ROY-848 says "Assigned to [reviewer] by a risk policy rule"; it may now say procedure), and the red escalated finding and reviewer guidance in the review screen.

Overview
When a procedure runs on an Engage request, reviewers see what happened and why. This article explains what each action looks like. Procedures act inside your firm only, so your client does not see them.
When the request is assigned to a reviewer
Review routing assigns the request to the reviewer chosen in the firm-wide rule or a department rule.
The reviewer gets an email headed Engage Request Assigned to You. It says the request has been assigned to them by risk policy rule and why, for example because client screening surfaced a potential adverse media match. They select View results to open it.
The review page shows a banner with who the request was assigned to, the reason and when.
If someone then reassigns the request, the banner goes. The history stays in the activity timeline.
If the chosen reviewer cannot see the contact, for example because of Ethical walls, the request is not reassigned.
⚠️ CHECK
Screenshot suggested (your decision whether to add it): the review page banner showing the assigned reviewer and the reason. Take it from a demo account and crop or blur client and staff names. Remove this callout before publishing, whether or not you add it.
When a finding is escalated
The finding is shown in red instead of amber Needs attention, with the reason. For example, if your procedure escalates a source of funds that falls short of the transaction value by more than £10,000, a shortfall of £25,000 is shown as escalated.
This prompts the reviewer to escalate the finding. It does not reassign the request or stop anyone completing the review.

When reviewer guidance is added
Your firm's instructions are shown on the finding while the procedure applies, for example what to check or who to speak to.

When people are notified by email
Each person chosen in the notification gets an email headed Risk policy rule fired, with the reason and the request details. They select Review request to open it. Nothing changes in the review screen, and the reviewer stays the same.

Important information
Procedures run once per request, when it is ready for review and its checks have finished. Dismissing a finding or turning off the procedure afterwards does not undo what it did.
Procedures do not block a review. Anyone who can review the request can still complete it.
The emails call a procedure a "risk policy rule".
Admins can see the procedure actions taken on requests in review in Governance > Procedures > Overview.
