How to view and download signed documents in Legl

How to find, view, and download signed documents from your Engage dashboard.

Overview

Once a client completes an e-signature request, the signed document is available in your Engage dashboard. You can check the signing status, preview the document, and download a copy at any time.


Before you start

  • You need access to the Engage feature in Legl.

  • You must have an existing Engage request that included an e-signature step.


How to view a signed document

  1. Go to your Engage dashboard.

  2. Find the Engage request that included the signature step.

  3. Click to open 'View signed document' or 'Download signed document'.

What happens next

The signed document is stored within the Engage request and remains available for you to view or download at any time.


Important information

  • The signed document shows the date and timestamp for when it was signed

  • The final page of the signed PDF includes a comprehensive audit trail, showing when the document was viewed and signed

  • Your client also receives a signed PDF copy via email once they complete the signing
