What you can use Engage for Businesses for

You can use Engage for Businesses to:

  • Search for and verify company entities

  • Generate Company Reports with ownership and financial information

  • Run sanctions screening against a business

  • Identify directors, PSCs, shareholders, and group structures

  • Run Instant Screening (PEPs and sanctions) on associated individuals

  • Send CDD or custom Engage workflows to business contacts

  • Associate businesses with other businesses to represent entity relationships

  • Monitor businesses for ongoing changes


How Engage for Businesses works

Engage for Businesses combines company registry data, screening tools, and workflow automation.

When a business is searched and selected:

  • Legl surfaces company registry data and ownership structure

  • Sanctions screening can be run in real time

  • A Company Report can be generated with financial and structural data

  • Associated individuals can be screened or sent due diligence workflows

  • Businesses can be associated with other businesses or individuals to represent corporate relationships

  • All activity is recorded on the Business Contact page

  • If monitoring is enabled, changes are flagged automatically

This creates a connected KYB process with a full audit trail.

From here, you can:

  • Start a new business search

  • Access existing business records

  • Run reports and screening checks

  • Manage associated contacts and business-to-business associations

  • Send Engage requests


Permissions and access

Access to Engage for Businesses depends on your firm's user permissions. Users with appropriate Engage access can search, run reports, and send workflows. Some actions such as reviewing reports or managing monitoring may depend on role settings within your firm.
