Overview

Bulk instant screening allows you to run instant screening on all directors linked to a business in one action, rather than screening each individual separately.

This is useful when you need to complete AML checks or sanctions screening across multiple directors quickly.

Before you start

Before using bulk instant screening, make sure that:

  • You have access to Engage for Businesses

  • A company report has been run so directors are visible

How to bulk instant screen directors

  1. Go to Engage > Businesses

  2. Search for and select the company you want to screen.

  3. Run or open the company report to display the list of directors.

  4. Go to the Structure & ownership tab

  5. Select Screen all directors.

  6. Review the list of directors shown:

    • Existing contacts in Legl will be automatically matched.

    • New directors will be identified as new contacts.

  7. (Optional) Enter a matter reference for any director, if required.

  8. Click Submit to run instant screening for all directors.

What happens next

  • Instant screening is run for all selected directors.

  • Screening results are available under View reports.

  • Existing contacts are reused where possible, helping reduce duplicate records in your Legl instance.

ℹ️ Important

Instant screening results will still need to be reviewed by a member of the team. For full details on how to review a Watchlist Screening, see the below guide:
