Overview

Occasionally you will need to reconnect your Legl and ActionStep integration. This usually happens when the connection between Legl and ActionStep has expired or been interrupted.

When this happens, you will receive an email from Legl letting you know that reconnection is required. You can reconnect directly through the Legl Middleware App.

Before you start

You will need:

  • The email address registered on the Legl Middleware App

  • Your ActionStep login details

  • The name of the ActionStep instance you want to reconnect

ℹ️ Important

If you are unsure which email address is registered on the Legl Middleware App, please contact our Support team.

How to reconnect the integration

  1. Click the link in the email from Legl, or go directly to the Legl Middleware App: https://actionstep.legl.com/

  1. Log in using the email address registered on the Legl Middleware App

  1. Click Connect and log in to your ActionStep account

  2. Select the ActionStep instance you want to reconnect

ℹ️ Important

Make sure you select the correct instance of ActionStep. Connecting the wrong instance will route your Legl activity to an unintended ActionStep account.

What happens next

  • The integration between Legl and ActionStep is restored

  • Legl workflows can be launched from ActionStep matters again

  • KYC status updates and document uploads resume automatically

Important information

  • Only reconnect when prompted by email. You do not need to reconnect the integration routinely

  • If you do not receive an email but suspect the integration has stopped working, contact our Support team before attempting to reconnect

  • Selecting the wrong ActionStep instance during reconnection can cause Engage requests and disbursements to post to the wrong account
