Our Engage tools are built with technology that runs global due diligence checks, so you can onboard clients anywhere in the world.
Our ID document verification is able to verify a government-issued photo ID document from any country, however, there are some jurisdictions that have insufficient datasets for us to be able to reliably verify the individuals address. In these instances, we will be unable to provide a clear result for this section of the Engage report as no matches will have been found.
To ensure that you always have enough evidence of an individual's address, workflows will now automatically capture a valid proof of address document if your client has provided an address outside of the UK (previously this was an optional toggle).
Don’t worry
This will not overwrite your existing message where you have workflows that are already collecting additional documents.
This will not change any engage requests you have already sent out to prospective clients.
The below workflow step will be added to your workflows automatically, but you can log in and edit the message at any time. In your workflows it will look like this:
The workflow step will be added automatically and it will only show to your client if they enter an address in an unsupported country. They will see the below message and will be required to upload a document.
