How do I log into my Legl account?

Setting up your account

You will receive an email invite to create your and choose a password. Click on the "Create account and sign in" button.

Fill in all of the information and follow the prompts until you have created an account. Once you are done click "Continue & sign in".

You will be redirected to the Legl platform now that your account has been created. You will also receive an email confirmation confirming your account have been setup.

How to log in using single sign-on (SSO)

Single sign-on (SSO) allows you to authenticate users when logging into Legl using your existing third-party identity provider.

  1. Enter your email address

  2. If your account has SSO enabled, you will then be redirected to your identity provider to complete sign-on

  3. Once authenticated, you will be redirected back to your Legl account

How to log in using multi-factor authentication (MFA)

MFA provides a more secure way to login to your Legl account, and is designed to prevent anyone else accessing your account even if they know your password.

MFA was enabled for all Legl accounts (except those using SSO) on 30 August 2022. All users are required to use MFA each time they log into Legl. If you have an active session, you won't have been logged out, but you'll be asked to use MFA when you next log in.

  1. Enter your email address and password

  2. You will be prompted to enter a verification code. This 8 digit authentication code will be sent to you via email (from sender: [email protected]) to the email address you use to login to Legl.

  3. If you still haven’t received an email after a few minutes, please check your spam folder. You can also resend the code from the login page.

  4. Return to Legl and enter the 8 digit code. Authentication codes will expire after 15 minutes.

  5. Click “Sign-in” to access your account

How to reset your Legl password

  1. If you have forgotten your password or need to reset it, you can do this from the login page. Firstly, go to https://account.legl.com/ and enter the email address you use to access Legl

  2. Click Forgot password

  3. You will be sent an email containing a link to reset your password

  4. Follow the link in this email and enter your new password. Once complete, you will be able to continue to log in to your account

If you are logging into Legl for the first time, please check that you have received your user invite email. This email is sent from [email protected].

How to troubleshoot your account

If you know your password is correct and you're still having trouble logging in or you are not being redirected to your SSO login page, please trying clearing the cookies and cache from your browser.

On Chrome:

  1. Click the three dots in the top right corner.

  2. Select Settings.

  3. Scroll down and click Privacy and Security.

  4. Click Clear browsing data.

  5. Choose a time range (e.g., All time).

  6. Check the boxes for Cookies and Cached images and files.

  7. Click Clear data.

On Firefox:

  1. Click the three lines in the top right corner.

  2. Select Settings.

  3. Go to Privacy & Security.

  4. Scroll down to Cookies and Site Data, then click Clear Data.

  5. Check the boxes for Cookies and Cached Web Content.

  6. Click Clear.

On Safari (Mac):

  1. In the top menu, click Safari, then Preferences.

  2. Go to the Privacy tab.

  3. Click Manage Website Data, then Remove All.

  4. Click Done.
