How can I manage permissions for contacts?

Manage access to certain features of Contacts using permissions.

In this article we will cover:

Contacts gives you visibility over your firm’s previous interactions with individual clients, including any completed due diligence or requested payments for that client.

All team users will have access to the Contacts area of the dashboard, and will be able to search and view details for individual contacts, as well as create new contacts.

Please note that only Firm Admin users will be able to control permissions for team users.

How can I change pay setting permissions?

To view insights and activity history for client payments, you need to have Pay enabled for your firm account.

Please follow the steps below to give a team user permission to view Pay:

  1. Go to Settings

  2. Go to Team

  3. Toggle on View all payments under Pay or View all transfers and payments under Finance

If a team user does not have the above permissions enabled, they will not be able to see recent payment activities or insights relating to payments for any contact.

How can I change engage setting permissions?

To view insights and activity history for engage requests, you need to have Engage enabled for your firm account.

Please follow the steps below to give a team user permission to view Pay:

  1. Go to Settings

  2. Go to Team

  3. Toggle on Product enabled under Engage

If a team user does not have the above permissions enabled, they will not be able to see any engage requests or insights within the contact profile.
