To use FrankieOne for client verification, your firm needs to complete a one-time registration with the Australian Government’s Document Verification Service (DVS). This process ensures you’re authorised to access identity documents through FrankieOne.
Before you start
✅ The form must be completed in one sitting (it cannot be saved partway).
✅ You’ll need your ABN (Australian Business Number). You can search for it on the ABR website.
✅ Only firms based in Australia or New Zealand are eligible.
Step 1: Organisation details
Enter your legal/registered entity name and business trading name.
Provide your ABN and, if relevant, your ACN.
Confirm whether you require access to Australian Electoral Commission (AEC) data:
Yes – if your firm is an AUSTRAC-registered reporting entity.
No – if you are not registered with AUSTRAC.
Enter your ANZSIC industry code (you can find this from your ABR registration or search at business.gov.au).
Step 2: Organisation address
Enter your business address (street, suburb, postcode, state, country).
Provide your postal address if different.
Step 3: Authorised representative
Nominate an authorised representative for your firm.
Required details:
Given name and surname
Position and role
Telephone number(s)
Email address
You may add an additional authorised representative if needed.
Step 4: Document types
Select the identity documents your firm expects to verify through FrankieOne.
Provide an estimate of expected usage by document type.
Typical breakdown:
Driver Licence: 85%
Medicare Card: 10%
Passport: 5%.
You can add other document types later if needed.
Step 5: Gateway service provider
Step 6: Declarations
Tick the checkboxes to confirm:
You are authorised to submit the registration.
You accept the Business User Terms and Conditions and Gateway Service Provider Terms and Conditions.
Step 7: Final review and submission
Review the form carefully to ensure all details are correct.
Once complete, click Submit.
What happens next?
Your application will be reviewed by the DVS.
Once approved, FrankieOne will notify you when your firm is ready to start verifying clients.
