Overview
The Legl Proclaim integration enables users to generate and send payment requests directly from a Proclaim case. Once a payment is made, a task is created for manual reconciliation, keeping everything seamlessly linked to your client’s matter.
Prerequisites
You have an active Legl account and have completed onboarding to get access to payments.
Proclaim version 3.5.0 or higher.
Sufficient space on your Proclaim disk for a full system backup (the Access Legal team will confirm this with you).
Agreement to possible system downtime during installation (Access Legal will schedule this directly with you).
Decision on which case types you would like the Legl payments integration available.

Installation Preparation
Contact Access Legal to confirm disk space availability; case types to install the integration and agree on suitable times for system downtime
Connect the Platforms
Contact [email protected] to initiate the integrations process. Support will provide your API key to the Access Group Solutions Manager.
Using the Integration

Once integrated, the Legl & Proclaim integration allows you to:
Create and send payment requests directly from Proclaim cases.
Receive notifications when payments are made.
Manual reconciliation tasks automatically generated for each payment.
User Guide
Sending Payment Requests
Log in to Proclaim and navigate to the client/ case you would like to send a payment request to
Open the ‘viewing pane’ side bar, scroll to the bottom and select Legl- Create payment
3. Enter all the payment details relevant to this client’s payment request (payment amount, reference numbers) and select how you would like to send this link to your client (email, SMS)
4. Create payment and send to your client through Proclaim
Reconciling Payments
You’ll be notified in Proclaim when a new payment has been made. You can then review all payments made via Legl, including the client name and payment reference under your task list.
2. If you select the payment and then click ‘actions’ you will be able to process the payment as per your existing reconciliation process.
